Drinking water quality, wastewater analysis and Industrial Wastewater Monitoring System (SAIS) services.
One of the most important problems in our developing world, perhaps the most important, is environmental pollution. To prevent the environmental pollution caused by human activity, the adverse effects of those activities must be brought under control and solutions must be found at source.
The decline of clean water resources due to human activity affects human life adversely, directly or indirectly. For this reason, countries aim through international agreements to prevent adverse effects on the environment.
In Türkiye, as elsewhere in the world, the volume of wastewater rises each day because of urbanisation, population growth, industrialisation and agricultural activity, and this creates a problem for people and for the environment.
Alongside wastewater analyses under the legislation, Alka Laboratories works on keeping the efficiency of treatment plants under control, determining the characterisation of raw and treated wastewater, and verifying the compliance of facilities with receiving environment standards.
Alka Laboratories identifies pollution caused by wastewater arising during the construction and operation phases of industrial facilities, and provides sampling, analysis and reporting services for municipal domestic and urban wastewater according to receiving environment discharge acceptance criteria. We also take part in joint projects with universities and public institutions.
Alka Laboratories has been carrying out analysis services since 2002 for the protection and management of Türkiye's limited water resources. Alongside its international accreditation certificate, and with the authorisation certificates obtained from national institutions, it carries out sampling, analysis and reporting of physicochemical, chemical and microbiological parameters in wastewater.
