Emission measurements, pollution dispersion maps and computer modelling studies.
One of the most important problems in our developing world, perhaps the most important, is environmental pollution. To prevent the environmental pollution caused by human activity, the adverse effects of those activities must be brought under control and solutions must be found at source.
Through international agreements, countries aim to prevent pollution in order to control solid, liquid and gaseous emissions released into the atmosphere by human activity, to protect living things from the dangers arising from contamination of the receiving environment, to eliminate the adverse effects that cause significant environmental harm through air pollution, and to keep such effects from arising at all.
As in all developed countries, various legal arrangements have been made in Türkiye to improve air quality. This legislation essentially sets the limit values required to protect human health and the environment.
Alongside air quality measurements under environmental legislation, Alka Laboratories serves industrial facilities in determining cumulative air pollutants and preparing pollution dispersion maps. We also take part in joint projects with universities and public institutions.
Using nationally and internationally accepted methods, Alka Laboratories works on and develops projects for determining air pollution before installation and during the construction and operation phases of industrial facilities, identifying air pollutants cumulatively across industrial facilities and their areas of impact, and preparing pollution dispersion maps.
